Expanding sentences

A way of writing good and interesting stories is by writing detailed and showing sentences. This site shows you how a simple sentence turns into a detailed showing paragraph.

Click on the site and you will see the sentence with shaded words.

Click on the shaded part and see how the sentence expands.

Keep clicking and reading until there are no more shaded words. Did you read these instructions carefully?

Thank you to Nik Peachey for sharing this fantastic site

Hello Miss Ale:

I couldnt do the thing of clicking on the shaded words until there are no more shaded words, because I clicked on one word and it said me to install some program. The video that was there was very good that man is kind of crazy because he cant cut off and breaks the phone cuts the little rope and the ending is also very good. The video was very well made and funny. The photo that was there and what it said upside the photo.

See you tomorow.

hi miss ale.Unlike Franco i could click on the shaded words.i saw how the sentence expanded, it is fabulous.I liked the sentence much more when it was long. I never write like that because if every sentence i make grows so much then instead of a short story i would have a trillion bibles!

Hi Miss Ale,
Like Gabor said, I could also click on the shaded words and every time I did like 5 more shaded words appeared!! It was so cool that you started out by one sentence and then like 20 lines of a showing paragraph. At first I thought that it would be a short showing paragraph and once I kept clicking I did not know when it was going to end. At the end when there were no more shaded words, I read the whole paragraph and it was much better than what it started out to be. The bad thing is that there is only one story. See you on Monday!!

Hi Miss Ale
WOW!!! The way you can turn a telling sentence into a showing sentence, or paragraph is incredible.
If I did a telling sentence, this man could create it a book.

I would say that was the greatest prolongation of a text I had ever seen. It was great i looked up untill the end and it was almost a whole page just to explain that you had a cup of tea. Great

Hello Miss Ale
What a great site. The showing sentences are much better because they creat you a image in your mind, they make you think, the atrap the readers atention, and they are much more descriptive instead the telling sentences go straight to the point and you do not have the nececesary information to uderstand the story, paragraph, text etc.
This site is very good I don't have a lot of fasiliti for writing showing sentences but if I use similes it would be much easy.
See you tomorrow
