Hi Miss Ale,
This Chinese Quotation means that teachers like you give us the tools to learn and help us to understand all the but the ones who decide whether to use them or not, and do things later are us. I think this quotation is very wise, like many Chinese people are.
See you,
Happy Teacher's Day!!!!

Hello Miss Ale!

The quotation means: That our teachers give us the way or the tools to help us learn more but if we don´t use the tools or enter the way we will be like some jerks. And we will not grow if we don´t understand what these means.

And this quotatio was very inteligent and hard to think.

Hi Miss Ale,
I think this quote means that though teachers may try and help us and give us support, only we ourselves can actually do the work, much like the passing through a door. A person may open it for us, giving us a choice to pass through it or not. It is completely up to us, and can be done only by us.

Happy teacher's day.

Hello Miss Ale,
When he says ¨Teachers open the door¨, I think it means that teachers open doors for a new day at school. And when it says ¨You enter by yourself¨ I think it´s says that we enter to the new day to learn more.
What I said I think it is like this.

Hello Miss Ale
I think this quotation means that teachers give us what we need and they help us to learn, but we have to listen to them and we need the choice of crossing the door.

Hi Miss Ale!!!
I loved quotation, they inspire me. This one goes to one of my favourites with the one the tennis player said. Plus you aren´t doing plagiarism because you said from wich source came and you used quotation marks.

The quotation of this week for me means:

That teachers open our minds to learn, imagen and try to develop our knowledge . Teacher open a door to learning but as sometimes Mariana says :" Te tenes que subirte al tren, si no no vas a poder aprender al ridmo de los demas". Sometimes teachers open the door with a happy WELCOME, but do we always get in?

I liked this quotaion, it is shurely because on Saturday was Teachers Day, we celebrated Sarmiento, who was a great teacher and president. He invented what is public education.

See you Tomorrow.

Hello Miss Ale,
I think this quotation means that teachers teach as everything we need to know for our future like mom, dad, adult, etc. Thats when they open our door to knowledge and we choose if we want to enter or not, thats our choice. I really chose entering the door the teachers of all Y6 and before opened for me. That would help to open the Mid school door, I think. A quotation is always a metaphor but I think that when you open the door to enter the class you are "entering to knowledge" or not??
See you in class!
Happy Teachers Day!!

Hi Miss Ale!
I love quotations! I like writing a post of what it means because everyone has a different point of view but they are all more a less connected in the same way.
I think that this quotation means that the teacher or the helper is there to teach you and make you understand but if you don't put a part of your self to make it right you won't get it right. The teacher and the student make a group. In a group we all have to put ideas. We have to communicate and learn form the other person. You have to be disposed to learn. You have to pay attention. There is a quotation that says that you don't have to give the fish to the poor it is better too give him a fishing rod and teach his to fish. In that way he will always know from were he can take his food. One fish you eat it and you don't have more but if you fish you will have one fish two fishes and so on.
Teachers open the door to everyone but the only ones that cross it are the ones that are disposed to learn.
Keep posting Quotations!
Kisses
See you Tomorrow!

Dear, Miss Ale:
For me this quotion means that the teachers are the ones that tells you wwich way you have to choose to go on walking to the end of the Labyrinth, but they dont go with you all the way to the end of it. They give you the map but not the Exchequer.

Hi Miss Ale
Great and Interesting Quote !!!!!

I think that means that you are going to give us the opportunity the path to learning but the ones that will or will not use it is us . Seconds after reading this quote I thought about another one that is in spanish is " yo no te voy a dar el pescado , te voy a ensenar a pescar "
Probably their will be hundreds of quotes with the same meaning but I like this one in particular.
You Probably put this post because of Teachers Day, and also because the third Term has begun and it is one of the most difficult Terms of the year because maybe people need or want to lift their mark , and You are probably are going to try to do your best in helping them into their learning, but the ones that have to make the effort and change is us.

Bye

Hi Miss Ale,
I read Axel´s comment and I want to say two things about it, first of all I have to say that his vocabulary not anyone has it so I want to congratulate him for his sense of writing and second I want to say that I totally agree with what he has because teacher teach ud and give us information and as Axel said, tools to help us learn but then we, by ourselves have to decide if we want to use them or if we want to learn, it all depends on us.
I want to sday that I really enjoy this type of posts where you put us quotes for us to reflect on them and try to figure out what they mean.

See you tomorrow,

Miss Ale,
What the quotation means is that teachers give you the bricks you need to build a house, but you are the one who chooses to use them or not. Teachers provide you with the resources, guidance and help you need to develop and grow, but, just as with everything else, it is up to you to take the opportunity or let it slip by.
