Hello Miss Ale.
I know perfectly this song, I remember that the first time I heard it was in a movie called Invictus which shows when Nelson Mandela is president for the first time after 30 years in jail and fighting for the black people rights. I still feel very sorry that he couldn't attend to the World Cup ceremony and I feel very sorry for him because one of his great grandchildren that had 13 years, had died in an accident.I give tribute to this person who always fought and fought for human rights and never giving up. He alone could join both breeds and make them have the same rights because a skin colour can't change in a person. I have heard that this song is like an anthom for South Africa and means a lot to them . I also saw in Tv that every single person in Africa sing that song and I think they said that Shosholoza means like put corage to eeverything and never but never give up and follow Mandela's Step and to make Africa a better and less poorer country to live.

Hi Miss ALe,
I know the song because I watched the film Invictus and I was happy because the song was with a happy mode and the story of Nelson Mandela was very well represented. I am reading the book Invictus and I always remember Shosholoza. It is very special because one day before my birthday the book Invictus came to Argentina and I had it for my birthday. I loved the gift and am surprised for what Mandela did for the black community to have the same rights as white men. He also was a man who predicted the future very well because he said that he was going to be the first black President before being 27 years in jail. He tried to understand the white men and used his time in jail to learn their language so that he could help his nation. It is incredible how he didn't give up after 27 years in jail. I think that in the project that we will have with you of Personal Heroes, I will chose him. I think that he was a great leader. If he goes to the World Soccer Cup, it will be incredible. He was great.
See you,

Axel G

Miss Ale,
I was able to get the lyrics together with the translation.
Lyrics:
Shosholozah
Shosholozah
Ku lezontabah
Stimela siphum' eSouth Africa
Shosholozah
Shosholozah
Ku lezontabah
Stimela siphum' eSouth Africa
Wen' uyabalekah
Wen' uyabalekah
Ku lezontabah
Stimela siphum' eSouth Africa
Translation:
Go forward
Go forward
on those mountains
train from South Africa.
Go forward
Go forward
You are running away
You are running away
on those mountains
train from South Africa.
