Quotation of the week!

"I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances." By Martha Washington

What is this quotation referring to?

What does it mean?

Hello Miss ale,
for me what it want to tell you is that You learn of erors and you have friendes and people beside you, that you are no alone here in the world!!and you don´t have to be angry of your life or all what is happenining to you. Also when you do an error you can know what is your mistake and learn from that because you can´t be the girl/boy perfect and always after a mistake you learn of that, like it happen to me with the pilarism of a post and I got a y.card, and then I got a y,card but of the same thing but in this case I did it well and of that is waht I now that always you learn of your mistakes!!!!!
I like what Martha wrote I am in her side, and I wrote in thiss comment what I think that it means that paragraph.
and it means a lot for me because of all I under strand she is all right on what she said.
well I like very much what she wrote, this post and also:

Hello Miss Ale,
I think that the quotation of the week means that if you didn´t like the note you had in the report card, you have to think for the better and never give up! In any problem you have there is a solution. So don't worry. I really like these post and these quotation because I was very sensible today, so when I read these quotation I really liked it. I think that the mark I have in the report card is okey for what I want but if I did a little more of effort I could have a 9 instead of a 8. But I am very pleased with my marks.

Hello Miss Ale,
I am not so sure about this. It is like a riddle, and I am certainly NOT good at decifering riddles, but I´ll give it a try. I think it must be that it doesn´t matter if you are in a bad time, for example with your economy, what matters is what you had, for example your family. I think it must sound weird, but that is how I think.
Thank you,

P:S: I think that now I am blogging more!

Hello Miss Ale!
This is a difficult quote but I think that is more important our point of view of the qouation than the real one.
I think it means that in very difficult times we need to put a good face and try to superate this difficulty in life and that when you are older it will become an experience.
That she is dermined that she will be happy and enjoyed life that is short, that the way we take life is about how we maneged our disposition, how we choose things in life, and if they are good they will help us when we are older, such as everything in the world has a meaning and teaches something new that can be good or bad, it all dependes which one you use like an exaple in the future.
But it always better to take life with a big smile than without any good emotion in you.
Keep on posting quotes because they help we learn a lot of you new stuff that I believe that is also useful for other people. And the space of putting our own opinion of life.
Good bye,

Hello Miss Ale,

For me this means that you can have very low marks in your report cards you you are bad because of something but you need to work on it very hard put a lot of attitued and if you are not so good at it you made your mark grow with hard working and if you are very good don´t start to be lazy and finish the year with a lot of attitude and hard working.!!

See you Ian

Hi miss Ale I think the quotation of the week means that we have had experiences when they were bad and that you try not to remember ever in your hole life. And also experiences that you will never forget and were very happy moments. And that all this moments depend on your decisions and attitude that you make or have. Also this means that from those moments we learn things, even of the bad ones. For Me also what Martha Washington wants to remark is that she tries to put her best attitude in whatever situation(even if it is very bad) but if you are happy and cheerufull always your day or even life would be better. See you tomorow! Sofi 6c

Hi Miss Ale , I think this quotient means that you have to be happy in whatever situation you are and take the good part of it . You have to enjoy every situation of your life and encourge it with a smile, even if it is a bad situation you have to get the good part of it and encourge it happily. It is better to encourge situations being happy .
Thank You , I enjoy this reflective posts.
Bye Vicky I
