hello miss ale
i htink that what he tries to say is that you neverhave to leave things until the last moment for example the tasks
then if you have a lot of tasks to do do them all
and for the next time do 1 thing per time

Hi Miss Ale,
I think that what Mark Twain meant was that you have to go one brick at a time, that if you have to go around the world walking ( example ), you have to start walking, if not you'll never be able to do it.
Mark Twain was a very famous writer of the late 80s, and I know that because I read one of his classics, Tom Sawyer. What he did very well was to catch your your attention by starting describing the characters in a way that you want to keep on reading the book. He was very famous! He made a great contribution to Literature, and the book Tom Sawyer was spectacular and marvellous.
See you,

Hey guys,
I live in Australia, Adeliade and I found your blog from a friends link. His name is Couso3. We are both in the same class. We play cricket with each other in the Summer. I think you have a very interesting blog.
I think the quote means: Create 'mini' goals to reach a 'larger' goal. Goals can help you in many way.
Hopefully I am right. Hopefully you
can look at my blog. You can just copy this link:

Hello Miss Ale!
I think that what Mark Twain meant is that if a task is very difficult for you, you can spread the idea, sentence, problem or what ever there is that you can't do or solve. From there it will be more easy. You do or solve each part that you had spread and then you put it all together. In a summary I think that what he said is that we have to do things with time, we don't have to hurry and that if we use time well we will have time to do things step by step.
I think that I know who Mark Twain is. Because it is familiar. I think that I could have heard it in a movie or my family have mention it some day.
Mark twain was born November 30 of 1835 and he died on April 21 of 1910.He was an American author and humorist. Twain is noted for his novels. He is extensively quoted.
Upon his death he was lauded as the "greatest American humorist of his age".
Some of the famous classics that he wrote were:
-A Connecticut Yankee
-Prince and the Pauper
-Pudd'nhead Wilson
-Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (which has been called "the Great American Novel")
-The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
See you tomorrow

I agree with what our friendly Australian visitor, in that making smaller goals to achive a greaty goal, and that we shouldn't give up on our large goals!

I know Mark Twain was a author who wrote several books, two that are classics would be.. Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer right? I'm not 100% sure...

hello miss ale
i think he ment that you have to do things step by step.
when you start something you have to finish it.
example when i was in second i did scottish dancing and sometimes i saw girls that started 5 classes of it and in the 6 they went, so i said to my mom i want to go out of scottish like does girls, but she told me that when you start something you have to finish it.
well bye

Hello Miss Ale
I love Mr. Twain way of writing, he has a special talent while he writes. I read many books from him last summer like Huckleberry fin and Tom Sawyer. Sorry how I wrote the titles, because my sister best friend lent it to me and I already return it to her. I think Twain´s paragraphs means something you propose yourself, something you think is little insicnificant that can change to an amazing big thig.
KISSES!

Hello Mrs Ale!!
I think it means that if you have difficult task you have to solve by steps to make it easier if you try to do it all at the same time it would be much difficult.
If you have a big poject to do first you have to organize yourself and then start with the first task and go doing it by steps.
