Getting ready...

Tomorrow is our "collaborative writing day". You will be finishing off the stories started by Miss Fiona's students in South Africa and continued by Mr Millward's students in Canada. You will have to make good use of your time in class. This time I'll be there to help you and to share this collaborative activity together. I'll be taking some pictures while you work so that we can send them to our "virtual" friends in Cape Town and in Canada. Enjoy this piece of writing!!

Hello Miss Ale

This will be great because 3 people will be making a story being on three different parts of the world. This was great because you can see their type of writing. It can be descriptive or not. On the story with the South Africans the child who made it with me was very creative and descriptive.

Hello Miss Ale,
Now we are doing it with students in Canada also! Woo! I really liked the idea of the "Collaboratin Wrinting" Or something like that! Becuase now first the Miss Fionas syudents in South Africa, then the students in Canada and then as! We are going to so it in pairs? Because as the final part is very short, or we are going to do it longer? Well, we are going to see how they write, if they are discriptional or if they arent. If how they trasmit htere information, what they like to write, and why. A lot of things we are going to now about our new VIRTUAL friends! Weell, the idea is great! Byee!

Hello Miss Ale!
I am very excited to do this, because with Fiona it was much less challenging to do this. Because we could do what ever we wanted with the story, but now no, now we have to close the story a bit like it comes... It is also exciting because we are going to be able to know how Canadian persons, South African persons and Argentinian persons work together, and create a great story which will pass threw 3 different parts of the whole world!! Also when i saw the story of the South African's who started writing "our story" i could tell they were very creative, and that encourages me to see what is the result of the story, i hope that the Canadians are the same of creative as in South African's....

Hello Miss Ale,

I liked very much this activity because it was very creative. I also liked very much the way in which we comunicate with other people of other countries. I think that the period that you are going to give us is going to be very usefull because we can express our ideas better with the other group friends.
A big kiss ..

Hello Miss Ale, thanks for giving us a chance to do the piece of writing for the students of South Africa. I couldn´t do it, because I didn´t have time, sorry. But I am going to take advantage of this it. I think that is incredible to finish storys from other persons of far away and with tegnology, before the children coulnd´t do that things, because they didn´t had tegnology. So we have to enjoy it very much!
the blog is great...keep on posting
ps: happy father´s day!!!

Hello Miss Ale,

I think that the story will be great because we can make one story with different opinions and creativity of different places in the world. I had to admit that the people of South Africa were very descptive, very creative, and another style of vocabulary, now, I think we will have 2 different styles of vocabulary. I hope we can get the stories made up so the people in Canada can read them before the classes finish for them.
Before you told us, I thought Miss Fiona was the teacher of Language. I hope they like our stories we are going to finish and also I hope we can give the stories in time.

Keep on posting,

Ramiro Sa.

Miss Ale,
I am really excited about starting this three way story as now we will start not with a pupil of one country sharing ideas but with 3. I think and hope they come out really good and see how they write in other countries and compare it with our and learn a bit and then include it in our pieces of writing.
Well Miss Ale
See you tomorrow
Lots of love

Miss Ale,
I havent been blogging in the pass of this weeks, so I am witting this comment lately. We already have made the global collaborative story! I made it with Clara and it was very reared because our story had A LOT of fiction and it was about Superman and aliens......We contiuned it together, not by parts.
I think this opportunity we had to make this international project was great because now we did not just connected with South Africa but we also conected with Canada! Today you told us that the ones of South Africa wrote very little because they are fron 4th and 5th year but the ones of Canada wrote alooooooot. That is because they are in 8th grade and today they finished the year....
Well, Im glad to blog again!
Enjoy your weekeeeend
Vicky sc.
pd: wish me luck in the interhouse!jajaja
