Miss Alejandraa!
I think a proverb is a different tipe of verb. This verb means that a teacher helps you but thay don´t make all the thing for you, you have to pay attention, liste the teacher, and behave because the teachers can´t make that for you becasuse that depends on us. If we want to be a good student we have to make thing work good, but if we want things to work wrong that that is probably NOT we doesen´t have to make all taht but you don´t have to bother others.SO it means that teachers help us in doing class work well in the other deppends on you, the teaches can,´t enter into our bodyes and make us behave so we have to behave or OWN! I´m the 99% shure that that is the answer!( like Cata saiss, jaja)

Bye XOXOX
See you on Tuesday!
PS: now in 4,3,2,1,0 seconds I am going to kansas I think. I recomend you to go thete I always eat barbacue reeps because the name is in eanglish jaja

Hello Miss Ale I think that this chinese proverb means:teacher open the door of education and we students, if we want to learn we have to enter by our self.

Miss Alee,
I think that what this proverb means is that teacher gives us tools for us to take advantage of them and we must choose if we will take advantage of them or not! My personal opinion is that we must take advantage or EVERYTHING, and first of all, of our school and try to make our best because other people, would LOVE to have what we have,

Hi Miss Ale,
I think that the proverb means that your teacher can help you in everything you want but she or he can't learn for you. If you want to be a good and intelligent person you have to try to do those things that the teacher is helping you in, by yourself and try to reach that door that for me it means that the door is the final step of learning. When you reach your goal.
I hope I answered the question.See you
Eleonora

Hello Miss Ale,
i think that it means that your teacher or someone guides you to the passege you have to go. But you have to do a great effort to reach that paseege and get to the final answer or to the final place you want to get. I think that these is a phrase to alert you and do you reflect and do what you can and more.
Have a nice weekend

Again its me. I like a lot thi tipe of proverbs, and I think what it means it is that the teachers teach you all you need for when we are big, that is that the teacher opens the door, but we, the students have to work, have a family(if you want) and do the best for when we are good citizens, that in that time the teacher would not help you any more.

Hello Miss Ale
What a good proverb.I think that it means that people can help you when you are bad but not do everything for you. They can help you but not do all. Like an example is when you are in a test they can help you with the spelling but not the answers.
What a good post.

Miss Ale,
In our blog we analized what proverb means, enter and you will see the frase that we have and the definition of proverb. I think a proverb is a kind of verb or something similar to a verb. In different words(in this frase) tells you that a teacher can help you but you can't aproachiate that the teacher helps you, she will not do everything for you, maybe you also can help her in class, paying attention and having RAR or behaving well. Sometimes we don't realise when we talk in class but when we talk and the teacher is explaining or talking, telling us something and we talk we are showing a luck of respect to our teacher. A proverb is a phrase that is popularly known and repeated, which expresses a truth, based on common sense. most of the times are methaphorical, so in the case of the proverb of our blog, you can take a horse to the water, but you can't make him drink, that is methaphorical because a horse can drink some water. So your phrase explains that the teacher can open the door but you can help by getting in because she can't do it for you. So we must take advange of it but not pass the limit we also can help her.

Hello Miss Ale!
I think that this means that teachers teach you things and you have to learn them if you want, it's better if you learn them, and then in the future if you want you can use the things you learned

Hello Miss Ale!
I think a proverb is a kind of verb, that means people can help you but you have to do your part also, because you will not be 50 years with your teachers next toy you telling you what you have to do. Also it means you can take your own decisions and that you will not have to ask others to take them for you! Like Miss Mariana says, she will help us with the verbs but she can't to the test for us.... All this means (for us students) that we have to pay attention in class and have a little of effort to study, blog, wiki, etc. Because you (teachers) will give us information and opportunities, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't pay attention. Because you teachers could give us 20 pages and say study for the test for next monday but you don't because you trust us that you can help us but that later we will have to put our own part. Also teachers give us opportunities when we fail a test, or we forget to blog or a weekly homework, but that doesn't mean we have to abuse.

Hello Miss Ale,

I think that what they mean is as what my father says:instead of give him the fish, give him the fishing rod. That means to give him the lesson, and you have to let him learn.

See you tomorrow,

I think the proverb means that the teacher teaches you things, shows you the way but you are the one who has to get to your objective, to learn and use what the teacher has taught and to reflect about what the teacher is explaining.
Also a proverb is like an old saying...something that has been said from mouth to mouth thank you a lottt

Hi miss Ale,
I think that proverb means that when you go to school,( it doesnt matter if its primary, secondary or college)
your tutor can make his best for you to learn, but, if you dont have actittud to learn, although your teacher "opens the door" you will not cross it yourself because you are not giving your best.
I dont know i my reflecion is what you have asked for, but I hpe it is.
See you toorrow:
