This a summary of the story. Hope you enjoy them!

Keawe, a poor Hawaiian fisherman, falls in love with Kokua, a young girl of royal blood. Her father refuses to let him marry her, though, unless Lopaka can bring him two feather cloaks from a rare bird. While searching the mountains for the bird, Lopaka encounters a dying priest of Pele who sells him a wishing bottle in which Kono, the god of the volcanos, is confined. The priest warns him of the dangers of the bottle: if he dies still owning it, he will be damned, and the only way to get rid of it is to sell it for a price smaller than was paid for it. Keawe agrees and wishes to be rich, then marries Kokua and sells the bottle. All is well until Keawe contracts leprosy. To get rid of it, he must acquire the bottle again, and he is forced to buy it for the smallest coin of the realm! To save her husband's soul, Kokua is ready to sacrifice herself by buying the bottle for a smaller French coin. Fortunately, a wicked sailor appears with a still smaller Chinese coin and becomes its final owner when the bottle is lost at sea. Keawe's wealth vanishes, but he is happy to be with Kokua

Hi Miss Ale,
I loved the story because both characters, Keawe and Kokua, gave their lives for saving the other's life. The love that there was between Kokua and Keawe was great. The ending was extraordinary because you never thought it would be like that.
See you, happ Sunday,

It was a striking story I must say. It showed a passionate love between Kokua and Keawe. The ending was completely unforeseen and astonishing. The author knows how to capture the readers by creating characters that go against everything one would expect. However, I believe I speak for everyone when I say this was a fantastic story with thrilling romances and deep desires that cannot be missed!

Hello Miss Ale!
Thank you for the English version
I really liked the story because in some parts the suspense and that scary feeling came to you, but then at the end it finishes all well. It was sad when the story told us that he was suffering a disease and that the only thing that mattered was to spend his life with Kokua, he was disposed to go to hell but all that mattered was Kokua. How they took care for each other was beautifull and romantic. How Kokua didn't wanted him to go to hell so she bought the bottle. How she knew that Keawe wouldn't sell it to her because he bought it to be with her, she told an old man to buy it to Keawe so that she could buy it to that old man. The end was a little bit funny because Keawe's friend didn't want to return the bottle to him because he knew that he was going to go to hell any way. That was funny.

Hello Mrs Ale!!!
I had really enjoyed the story and I think that the story talks about that you must never play with the devil beacuse you will suffer the consequences like Keawe had to do. I really liked it because every time one of them such as Kawe or Kokua had to give there lives to save the person they loved.
