I think this poem explains to the reader that true friends, tell you things straight ahead and always go with the truth, they will always tell it to you, no matter how important or disappointing it might be. This quote shows also to the reader that you can always count on a true friend, and know he will always tell things to you how they really are.

Hello, Miss Ale!

I also think it is a great quote... Sounds a bit strong, but I think it means that true friends... say the truth at all times!

You know the saying enemies stab you in the back? Well that means they say bad things about you behind your back, but friends directly tell you what they don't like about you.

Miss Ale:
I think that quote means that true friends are friends that you can count on them in the bad things and in the great things. True friends tahat keeps you a secret that defends you all the time. Friends that have fun with you.
