When working on Reading Comprehension, some of the questions were focused on making inferences from the text (AF3). Do you remember?
Watch the following video and see if you really understand what to make inferences means. Leave a comment saying what you understood. I don't want to read any comments such as "Nice video or funny video". Thank you.
Hope you understand it and enjoy it!

Hello Miss Ale:
Wow I se the comments at the left and I think that that comments are very short because I think you are expecting us to leave larger comments from an educational video.
Going back to the video "It was a very funnyvideo" I'm just kidding it was very slow like that animal. They repetead all the time the same with different examples.I learn allot from this video if you dont believe me we can talk about this in the class.
See you tommorow.
Hello Miss Ale,

i understood what inferences are and i made examples in my head. it is very easy to understand it. see you
I liked the video a lot because it was made only by chidren. I understood what inference is and it is when you figure out something from a book or by looking at something without someonse teling you what it is. I already knew what inferences where because we talked it in class but insteead of calling it inference we called it 'showing'.
Hi Miss Ale,

bye miss ale
Hi miss Ale
I understood what the inferences are they are words that describe your mood like sleepy, tired, etc or like the video says when you figure somehting out using clues and you already know. Is something not saying it directly.
Text clues+backround knowledge=inference
Inferring is this taking clues from the text and blending them with yourcown thinking to come up with an idea that the author didn't actually write.
Inffering can let you find the answers to your own questions
Miss ale
it was INCREDIBLE i understood all but it was very good.
This video refreshed my mind, because it reminded me what was to infer thngs or images from as text or image. In the video I understood that when you are seeing a picture you can infer how they/he/she feels, or does without telling anything. Or in a text when you read it it tells you what the character is doing without saying anything. I really liked this video!
Miss Ale
The video is fantastic and I could understand that make inference is to make a sentence or a paragraph more long with more adjective or other words that show more information about the people or the thing that is trying to be shown in the sentence or paragraph. I remember only that with Miss Caroline and with Miss Mary last year we did reading and comprehension and after the work was corrected we watch witch sentence were (AF3).
See you tomorrow!

Hi Miss Ale,
I understood a lot of things like: an INFERENCE is when you figure something out using clues and what you already know. That TEXT CLUES is when you see the clues that the author gives you. BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE is what you already know. All of these including Text clues and Background knowledge makes up Inferences. I am inferring what I can see with my eyes and what other people are feeling. For example: I see a friend that is alone and her head hurts and I know that she is sick. Its like showing and not telling. I learnt a lot from this video!!
See you on Monday!!
Hi Miss Ale,
I learn alot of things about inferences with a simply video. I also had fun because the childrens that made this video they did it with presoso witch was funny.I agree with ariana that with these video we could learn: an INFERENCE is when you figure something out using clues and what you already know.
See you Clara V 6A
Hi miss Ale
I understood that an inference is when you figure out something by using the clues that the person or whatever it is shows like if you see someone moaning you won´t think it´s realy active and ready to do anything you would say it´s tired. I also understood that in the books it doesn´t say: "He was bored" it must say: "Tom thought that the history class was really boring and that that was made for, he was really exausted from hearing so much boring things."
See you tomorrow!!!
Hi Miss Ale,
From the video i learnt that inferences are exprecions that people use to express words like when a kid is yauning it means he is sleepy.I didn't know that the word inferences meant that.
Thank you!!!
See you tomorow!!!
I understood that an INFERENCE is when you figure something out using clues and what you already know
Also that a text clues are the clues the author gives to you.
And I also understood that a backround knowledge is wat you alreadi know.
So a backround knowledge + text clues = INFERENCE
Hi miss Ale:
From the things that are on the video, I think that inferences are some words that figure something that you already know.
miss ale i liked the video it made me learn what inferences mean when like somewone does something but doesnt tell what he is doing but yo now because of his bod language or his exprecions.
Matias. C
hi miss ale
I saw the video with matias and i found that the girls expresion of its meaning wasnt very understandable.
Even dough i really liked the video because it explained what anonymous accions are really called. by see you tomorrow
It is a word or a humor (face) that helps you know how that person feels.
ok hope it is ok!
I understood quite well what were inferences and i think the videos that you are giving us are very good!
Hi Miss Ale I understood very well the inferences but why there was a monkey sorry but that wasnt funny. But you learn a lot with videos that in class.
I didnt understood all but I know that inference is when you realize something with clues (thet the person or thing didnt told you what he was doing or feeling).
eg:
You see a person with a sad face you already know that he is sad without hearing him say to you that he is sad.
