What is a fantasy story?

These are the definitions that each Y6 could build on what a fantasy story is. Click here and read them. Are there any differences or similarities in the definitions? Anything that you remembered and that you would like to add?

Hope you enjoy them!

for me the similarites on the defintion of each six is that all of us think that a fanstasy story is always interrupted by an object or a scene that is not real, I dont want to add more things for me is very complete and clear!
I would use them a lot and I soppused that the next project that we will work on would be fantasy stories. I am very enthutiastic for writing a fantasy story!

Hi Miss Ale,

I think they are very simular but they are said in diffrent ways. The one who explains it best is 6B because it says the same but in a shorter way.

Thank you for asking.

Hi Miss Ale!
For me the definition would be
that a fantasy story is a type of story that is real untiL a certain point when reality is interrupted by a fantasy element that could be a character, an object (charm, talisman) an event, an action, it also makes the reader doubt about what is really happening. Usually after that event it changes something's or someone's life.
All the definitions of 6A, 6B, and 6C express almost the same but with different words. A definition that really stands out for it is that a fantasy story is always interrupted by an object or a event that breaks reality.
As Ernestina said, I'm also very enthusiastic when writing stories!
See you

Miss Ale:
In my opinion all those examples of how fantasy stories are, are very good. If we joinded them all together and made another example with the most important ideas of the three examples it will be a very good example of how fantasty stories are made of (what things usualy happen in them, etc).

all 3 6 have done a nice job ones better than others but even dough, evreyone could understand the meaning of what we were doing.
I think that 6 B was the best because they new it like evreyone else but could sumarize it in a way of explaining evrything but much shorter and easier.

Hi Miss Ale
I think there is nothing to add. They are good definitions, and you can really understand what is a fantasy story.
There are all good, but B´s definition has a bit more of description.
They are all similar in a way, every story is interrupted by a fantasy element.
These fantasy definitions are really fantasy stories definition, because they explain in a clear way what is a fantasy story

Hi miss Ale:
I think that it is very similar the ones of 6A, 6B and 6C. For me that every one was very clear. I agree a lot in the part that says that it is not all the time unreal it is that it is all real until an unreal event happens, I new that because I really love them so I read a lot of fantasy stories and I know about it. For me that every class did it very well and clear but in 6A they put that the it was a `TIPE´ of story that..., and it is not a type of, it `IS´ a story that... It was very good, I think that we all did a very good job in this work. I new some things because we talked about it a lot in lengua, I think that now we are talking about very similar things in lengua and in language, they are really connected.
But it docent mutters because I love fantasy stories it docent matter of witch author it is, I just love it. I really enjoyed doing this oral work. And I really would LOVE to write a fantasy story in class and express it with the items like we did with the mystery story. I love to do that kind of projects. I guess that we are going to do a lot of projects like this with you.
See you next class.

Hi Miss Ale,
I think these definitions are great. I think they look alike because in all of the texts the same sentence apears. That says that there is a part where the reality is interupted with a magic action or object!! They were really great, I will use them to desctibe what is a fantasy story!!
Bye see you tomorrow!

Hi Miss Ale,
I liked the one of 6c because I think it was the best answer to what a fantasy story is. It´s true the part of that a fantasy story has an element, character, etc, because that "thing" in all fantasy stories are the main problem or idea.
have a nice week!

Miss Ale
for me the similarites on the defenetion of each six is that we think that it is a real story inerrupted by a anusual thing or unreal. It could be interrupted with a unreal character or a strange object.

Clara V said...

Hello Miss Ale
The similarities in the deffinition is that they all wrote that a fantacy story is a story that in certain point it is interrupted by a an objet or somethng that happen wich it can not be real. And the differences are that any of the year 6 wrote the definitions with the same or similar words.
See you tomorrow
Clara V 6A
I would add that the oject or a fact that happenes and it is not real it can make you dout a little and then the story continues but with a different meaning and sometimes you can see it from a different point of view.
For me as Ernestina said all this definitions would help us a lot to write or analise a fantasy story if it is going to be the next thing that we are going to do

I think that the 6b but are all simillar and clear.

Hi Miss Ale, I think that all the definitions the different classes made were very good. Each one said about what they thought it was and some parts were similar. For example, all of us think that a fantasy story is always interrupted by something that is not real or douesnt exist. I love writing fantasy stories because you con use a lot of imagination and can create whatever you want.

Hello Miss Ale,
I think is good to make a definition of a Fantasy story because then we can see what the other classes think about and we can learn also other definitions and learn it for class, like maybe we can see a word we can use in a vocabulary of Fantasy Story!

The definitions are the same, but expressed with different ways. The only thing I had to add is that at the end the life of something or someone changes forever.

For me the best definition is te one of 6B because, it tells you better what can break the reality, and it has more detail. I am not very good at fantasy stories but I do my best.
Thank you for asking, see you tomorrow.
