Voicethread from South Africa

Our "virtual" friends from South Africa have prepared a very interesting voicethread about their country.

Look at the images and listen to what they say carefully. Start thinking about your comment.

hello miss ale,
I liked this post because you can learn more from south africa because I thouhgt south africa was a very very poor country but you can see that it has beautiful mountains and ocans and the flag of south africa is very strange compared to the one of argentina because it has lots of colours and shapes and our flag is only light blue and white with a sun inside. I think that to everything you can take a good view and understand that there is always some bad things but we have to believe they are going to be better.
a big kiss
see you tomorow

hello miss ale

The post was great, I really liked it. It was very ineresting to listen to the children of South Africa. I remembered when a girl mention to Nelson Mandela, I remembered the proyect of the hero. So all the things he said I knew them because of this proyect.

Hello Miss Ale,
the South africans have the accents such as the vice-director its like you almost cant understand what they are saying but what makes me happy is that we are contacting to another continent which for me, my father and my mother is very interesting.

Miss Ale,
I liked this voistherd very much, and I liked very much you puting it on the post, because if not y would never see this wonderful way to learn about other countries. I see that they have a very good english! But miss ale, the ones that talk were the only people in Fions's class? because they were few. Can we make another voicethread with another countrie too?
Bye, see you when the holidays finish!

Hello Miss Ale, this is Fiona Beal here from South Africa. Your idea of a voice thread project was an excellent one. Thank you so much. I got such a surprise when I saw the comments from your students on some of the slides of the voice thread. I loved the written comments of your students on this page. Where is your voice thread project on Argentina, Miss Ale? It seems to have disappeared.

Hello Miss Ale,

The Voice thread is excellent. I could listen to almost every thing they said except for some parts because they talk in a different english.

See you next Monday,

Ramiro Sa.

Hello miss Ale,

I think this proyect is very nice because we can learn about another country that is very different to Argentina and at least in my case, I learned a lot because before I knew nothing about south Africa and the nine provinces inside. Because of this voicethread, I discovered that there was a great part of South Africa that I didn´t knew it was really there. I didn´t expected that South Africa could have so beautiful mountains and views. I just knew about the other side (the poor one). It is really surprising that it has 11 oficial languages!!!.

See you soon,

Ramiro Sc.

Hello Miss ale,
Before this video of South Africa the only thing I knew was that there were lots of animals jaja. Know I know how many people are, the money they use, thier beautiful landscapes and many more things. I was pleased to do this kind of work because we talk and see our names and faces, it was fun talking about a thing you know and made other know about it. Bye see you tomorrow.
