Quote of the week

"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step." -
Martin Luther King Jr.
Last week you were given your progress report upon which you had to reflect and write down two goals to accomplish during this month. How can you relate this quote to your future goals?

Hello Miss Ale,
When I entered to the blog I saw two posts. I was very bored in my house all the day, in my bed. I want to go tomorrow to school.
For me it has to do because to get to the first step is much difficult to fall of the staire. Like the train, all the teachers told us that we dont have to lose the train, because is going to be much difficult, then in the middel of the year try to get into the train. It is more counftable, that in the first part of the try to get on the train that in the middle of the year or at the final of the year try, but I cant get in. That phrase for me means that I have to start to get in the stair and dont think in the hole year, now think in the time it is.
These phrase you take it from books, internet, that you hear it? I am asking that question because now a days there are many things were you can take information. And are more books or sites with more information, If you want in class you can answer it.
Then when I go to scholl I think I am going to have a lot of work to do at home.
See you tomorrow at school, if I go, that I think that yes.
XOXOXOX

Hello Miss Ale,

I think that what Martin Luther King Jr. was trying to say is that you have to be brave and you have to risk and don´t let that your fear don´t let you do what you want. Also I think that you have to improve and success. I think that this has to be similar us our progress report because what I want to do is to improve things such as writing.
See you tomorrow,
Ramiro Sa.

Hello Miss Ale!
Wow! What a chalenge...jaj (it is NOT true)I think that this has to do with our report cards becuase this is saying that whe ALWAYS have to keep on and be determined, like a hero, and if you get a bad note you dont have to cry, you are in the first step of your achivement! Thats why our teachers told us at the beggining of the year " SUBITE AL TREN.. NO TE LO PIERDAS!!", that meant that it is much more easier to start from the begging from cero than at the middle of the year or at the end from cero!

I think this means that maybe a staircase has many steps but if you take only one at a time you can probably go up it much better because you can consentrate on only one step !!!!
It's the same for this kind of report card because they give us time to go over it and then to take each step one at a time !!!
See you tomorrow

Hello Miss Ale, by the minig you put in the post refering to the book that was: "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step." It seem a intresting book. I say that because I coudnt go to were it was the description of it. And I think that the book is about someone that must be coragus and he is shy or meny more tinks about refering of taking one step fowerds.
Bye.

Hello Miss Ale

I think this proggress report has to be with the futue goals.
I think it because this progress report is given for you to see how you are going and do it like it was or better. It has to dowith future goals because on this report you have to put yourself some goals. This goals i think are like min future goals.Like Marhtin Luther King says start with something small for then to do something big.

Hello Miss Ale, I read the sentence this person wrote. for me it helps to me with the report of progress (I think you call it like that), because it says to you that you have to give all you have, all your effort to have a better note. I hope it is how I say.

Miss Ale,
Today i am bloggin EARLY! Well i think this has to do like with nike's motto which says just do it because you have to start with something and proceed to achive your goals. I asociate it with our last week report cards because it was like a scaning of which is our level and it showed us what was our performance and there we could see which things we had to improove as to have a better performance and that is why we had to write down our goals and i will see at the end of the first term if a have acomplished them and if i had aimed my goal
Well See You Tommorrow

Miss Ale,I wrote my two goals but both were from writing! And I was able to get better in one of them!I feel very proud of myself... I think the stair stands for succes, it means that if you try hard you will get to the top but if you don't you will have to start again and again. In 4th they made us learn a poem it was a bit like this:" Try try again, is a leason you should nanana .Try try again nanananannana .Try try again If at first you don't succed then your corouge prevaile try TRY AGAIN" Jajajajaj! O don't remember it very well... But it showed me a lesson. Now seeing this post I realize that if the first time we dont get it right we should try again and again until you succed! I think it would be a good idea to print that poem(you can look for it in google) and give it to each one of us to encourage us(only if you want)! =) Love leaving comments in your posts! It is very fun. I enjoy it. I agree with Oli P. I can't wait to do my hero project because last year we did it and I loved it!!!XoxoxxoCelii p. 6b OlivosP.S: The video from apple is great I showed it to my parents and they loved it!

Hello Ale this picture for me it means not just to be inteligent or think that you are superior than other but the boy that is being told that he is not inteligent but he can have the risk of making a efort and day by day pasing you are you to be superior.

Miss Ale, I also think what this man is reffering by reflecting on this quote is by acheving goals on a step by step bases. First consentrating and focousing on my main goals as this man is suggesting us to do, and then further on consentrating on other details which are important as main goals too. See YAA' Miss Ale
lots of lovee

PS: Tomorrow may I ask you if they are no spelling mistakes in something I wrote about heroes to post in the bringing uss together blog, i hope you accept! Thankksss anyway

Miss Ale,
I had just entered to the Best Blog 4 ever, of course, and I had saw to posts.
For me that frase shows you that maybe you are not the greatest pupile, you are good but not the excellent one, so maybe the excellent and great one has already climbed the staires or not, but when you make a mistake for example, you learn, because if you have all right you will have no doubts at all, so maybe you can be brilliant but also ask to have it clearer or to learn more. And if you are not the greatest pupil, but you make lot of effort, you will be on the fist stair. So this shows that for getting up to the first step of the stair it is difficult to fall down, effort may help you never fall down. As Marita tells us Subanse al tren chicos, not only Marita but Mariana tells us that no todos estan subidos al tren, the train is like the stairs. Since it is better to start the year on the stair or the train than then on the middle or the end of the year climb the stairs or get on the train, because it will cost a lot. So showing respect, responsability, attitude, good humor, and effort, you can be better.
Miss Ale,
I like this post because this are the posts that we have to show our feelings.
Good Byee

Hello Miss Ale:
I entered the blog and saw this new post. I think that what Martin Luther King Jr said means that ( if I have to associate it to our progress card) you dont have to care what are your friends mark (it doesnt matter if its more or less than you) you have to concentrate in your step and try to improve yourself as much as you can. Dont try to take everything at the same time and fast, your work comes always better if you know what you are doing, if you study, if concentrate, and, if you take the time you need. Because taking "one step" at a time you realized if you make a mistake, and you can always check (to say in a way ) We also can assosiate this with the methaforic train(As Belu D said)

You dont have to mind of the others marks and not of thfe other ones.

I think that this has to do with our report cards becuase this is saying that whe ALWAYS have to keep on and be determined, like a hero, and if you get a bad note you dont have to cry, you are in the first step of your achivement! that it is a good one and I will think similar to that when I`ll be working but I would say "don`t worry about some one who is better just start well and little by little try to improve it"

Hi miss ale, It was the morning and I didn't have anithing to do. So i entered to the blogg and i saw post that i had didn't posted a comment so i cliced. For me what Luther the King is trying to say us is that when you have to achive your goels the first thing you can do is climb the first part, but you'll need faith. Then you do the second step, the third, the fourth, like that. Because if you don't do the first step, you could never finish.
