Dear Miss Ale: I think that we really worked very hard all of us!!!!!!!!!
I think this is a very good way to celebreate the school´s birthday because we are representing the Scottish people who got here in those days and how their situation was at those days, and afterwards built our present school and how the school inproved through time and years. I think that it was a very interesting "play" because you got to know the emotions that the people where suffering at those times and what their feelings were, no matter how hard it was for them to leave home, they HAD to move to somewhere else. I think that we got to show the people how interesting the school improvements where and how was the situation in both countries, we also told them and showed them, in a very interesting way, how the life of every founder of the school was and how everything got perfectly "planned" for them to get to the idea of the school.
I really had fun while practising the show and while acting it!!!!!!!
I am really looking foward for the school to keep doing as well as it has done for 170 long years and for the video to come out very well!!!!!!!!
I just can´t belive that we are going to be part of the history of the school and that people in ten years will, maybe, watch the video and remeber the hard work(well maybe imagine)we did for this video to be made!!!!!!!
I WISH THIS APPEARES IN THE "MUSEUM2 MARITA IS WORKING ON!!!!!!!!
IT WILL BE AN HONOR!!!!!!!
THANKS FOR ALL OF THE TEACHER WHO HAD BEEN THERE TO HELP US TO DO THIS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!
BYE BYE
SEE YOU SOON...

Miss Ale:
I think this proyect of working in punta chica about the aniversary of the school was very fun because we could go around and see our friends from p chica and talk with them. That we dont usually do ! It was very fun to decorate our scene with the things we brought and it was lotttttttts of fun to be there with your group. I had a lot of fun when we could rest, because we were there in the scene and the boys (IN MY SCENE) were doing funny things so I laughed a lot. It was real fun. Sometimes I got a bit tired, and in the first presentation of the day also, i was very nervous, but then as the day passed by I was feeling better.. Well I have to go and sleep.
See you around

I am very proud of being par of St. Andrews, and I think that every person that comes to school should be as I am. I can only say thank you and I say congratulations to all of the teachers, because if I learnt something in this project is to have patience, and teachers need it very much!!!!

HELLO, Miss Ale
I think it was very intresting and I learned many things, better than reading and memorising, and it left a difrent mesege because we were part of it. I lerned the school`s story it is long and I would like to some day be part of it´s history. It was very nice of Marita organacing every thing, it was all in its place. Monday and Friaday were to long and fun day´s. It is a nice memory I will remember: "the last year at primary I had the prevelige of bing part of the exposicion of the 170 anivarsari of the school". I had lots of fun.
see you soon

Miss Ale,
I really enjoy making this proyect, because we are remembrering our schools history and we are also acting as if we are like them, so in a way we are trying to feel what they felt and all the things that they happen. I really thing that if they see us now, celebrating and remembering them and the school they will realize how important they were for the school and also that thanks to them, that were very brave, we are learning very much in this school and we are all proud that the school has now 170 years old. I am very proud of everybody in the act, because all the comment I heard were that we act very good and that we really felt what we were saying.
I think my group act extremely good, and that we all did a great effort to make it see good as possible as we can !
I also want to thanks Marita, because she is the one who made all this possible. And also for all the teachers that were there to help us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ST. ANDREWS!!

See you,

Shany M !

Miss Ale,

I think we worked very hard on this big project. It was a very nice way to celebrate the schools 170th anniversary. The first days it was very tiering going to punta chica and then coming again, but there is a moment when you do it as a routine. We all made a fantastic job and from what i heard many people loved and said that you coudlnt miss it. At first some people coudlnt hear what we were saying but then when we spoke up and with the microphone everything was perfect. I learnt a lot of things i didnt know about the school. We learnt how the scottish men and women got to where we are know and whyu they came. I hope that when they filmed us we spoke loudly so they could here us. The scenes were really nice and placed in the perfect place. In are scene we really did look as if we were in the camp working. I think we all had a really nice time and that every body that went to see it had a nice time and i hope they will never forget about it. Thanks to all the people that went to see us, The people that brought things to put in other scenes, to all the teachers and especailly to Maritha!!! She worked really hard to do this and she did a really good job. It is really hared for one teacher helped by others to control about 100 children. I hope that in 10 years time or less kids are going to see in the film are performance and see how much effort we put to it.

Let's wich that St. Andrews had a nice Birthday remembering how he got there. We need to congratulate all the teachers, students and especially Marita for our hard work and dedication on the time tunnel. I really liked working on this "Proyect" with Punta Chica, and Marita told us that it is the first time that Olivos and Punta Chica do this time tunnel and I'm glad to be part of it. When they told me that St. Andrews had 170 years this year 2008 and was SO happy and I just wanted for that day to come so that we could act right NOW!!! And now that it finished I want to be there again. Hope everybody enjoyed and learned a lot from the school as we did. It was impresing see all the little children and more old people watching us (sometimes I thought if I could move myself or even talk). What I really liked was the feeling that I was in somebody elses shoes (one of the scottish womans). I saw my family's tartan (campbell). I really hope the video comes out really well and lets hope that all the videos of St. Andrews birthday can be there. When the St. Andrews museum comes out I am going to visit it and see if I can find my video, and the video we saw. This has been a wonderfull year for the Olimpics and the school's 170 birthday! Today Marita told us to write an "Autovaloración" were everybody wrote there fellings for the act and for the school's birthday. Hope all the teachers enjoyed working and watching the time tunnel!!!!
See you tomorrow,
Kisses,
Valerie P.

The 170° anniversary of the school are very important in the fact that after many, many years the school was founded and its incredible how after all the years past many new things happened and changes. Such as consequence or effects. Our conmemoration for the school after 170 years was great with lota of effort, giving the best of ourselves to make the others remember and nowadays take in count after how many years the school has been working and every changes and reasons that the school does things while the others dont know the reason. IT WAS A GREAT CHALLANGE AND I HAD LOTS OF FUN!!!

Hi there!
I really enjoyed myself while doing the time travelling. I liked a lot being a guide. Thanks to all the teachers for the help. I liked it because we did it in Punta Chica. The last time we did it everybody was more tired than for the first time we did it. I think that everybody had a lot of fun. We all worked really hard! It was a very nice form to show the people in the school about the story of our school. We have to know what happened here, in Argentina when the school was first opened.
See you soon,

Miss ale!! thanks very much but I think that the teachers and most of all Marita was the one that made the most important part though we had to practice our work and don't start laughing in the middle of a very sad seen, and that was VERY difficult!! A lot of people come to see us and I was very nervous!! Did you know that people from 3 years to 93 years old came to see us?? Now I know that 170 years is not any old number, its a VERY, VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY large number and I'm very proud to come to a school that lived for so many years and I'm very proud of the teachers, headmasters, and all the people who worked a lot in these period of 170 years!! To finish I wanted to ask you if you remembered the firsts days at school that we used to post in the blog"have a cery good year!!!" and now that we are finishing this last year in primary the exibision made me recognise that in 2 or 3 months we finish primary and I thought of it and I am going to miss it a lot, the thing I am going to miss the most is all the happy moments that I learned things with my friends and with my teachers... I hope you have a wonderful 3 months left and happy teachers day!!!!!!!!!
See you tomorrow

I think it was verry good and important not to forget the schools aniversary. The schools aniversary you have to rember it like yours, Bieng the school some how part of you. We spend more time in school than at home so realy it is part of you. So making every year a verry good birthday is verry important. We had the luk that we are in sixth ower last year in primary and we act in the 170 years birthday of our school.
We had all made a hard work in this birthday acting. It was realy fun geting in the skin of onother person in my case a scotish. All the one who I know said it was verry good so I think we made a good work.

Hello Miss Ale
It looks like a long time past since we were doing the 170 aniversary exposicion but only 18 days past I would think a monthe came by since we were doing the exposicion. It was a very nice expirience and know I see its object to help us study in only two days of having fun and helping smoler children anderstand the schools story, two paralel storys that come togehter and make a one with, our presentasion on victorians some thautes abaout the paralel storys I saw reflected in the acting were clearer. I would like to tresure this experiense to help me guied mi self in what is hapening in the present and how it got to this instance, As Marita sais "se estudia el pasado para comprender el presente y no cometer los mismos errores que nuestros antepasados en el futuro".
