Can you describe your life so far in six words? It’s a challenge I 'm giving you. It can also be about your life in Primary school. You must be creative and clever. Remember that these words need to reflect you……not just be six words. Then look for an image that can represent those six words and save it in your computer.

Today we are launching the new Sasspipes Newspaper Blog started by a group of year 6 children. The idea is to have a space where to share news, sites, and anything interesting that you can think of.
This is just the beginning and we think we could make it much better if you shared your ideas as to what to add to the blog.

When William Kamkwamba was fourteen years old he built a windmill. He is from Malawi, and using information he discovered in a book and miscellaneous parts that he was able to find, he built a windmill to help his family and eventually his community with their everyday needs. Please watch his inspiring story which shows what can be accomplished with a little knowledge and some ingenuity.

Maybe you would like to have a power that would help you do good in this world. Or maybe you would like to have a power in an area that you find lacking within yourself. For example: perhaps you are having trouble in math; a superpower that might help with instant number recognition and formulas might come in handy.
Kids are spending more and more time on computers and cell phones. For most kids, these devices offer a fun and fast way to keep in contact with friends and family. Some, however, use e-mail, text messages, social networks, such as Facebook, to bully their peers. This is the video we watched in class and we reflected upon it altogether.
